Jean D's Shepherds Pie

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 2 cups cooked vegetables
  • 5 potatoes, cooked and mashed

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground beef and onion. drain.
  • 2 add seasonings, tomato sauce, catsup, and vegetables.
  • 3 transfer to 10" pie plate or 2 qt casserole dish.
  • 4 top with mashed potatoes. if desired, dot with butter and sprinkle lightly with parmesan cheese.
  • 5 bake uncovered at 350* for about 20 minutes.
