Jean D's Shepherds Pie

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup catsup
- 2 cups cooked vegetables
- 5 potatoes, cooked and mashed
Recipe
- 1 brown ground beef and onion. drain.
- 2 add seasonings, tomato sauce, catsup, and vegetables.
- 3 transfer to 10" pie plate or 2 qt casserole dish.
- 4 top with mashed potatoes. if desired, dot with butter and sprinkle lightly with parmesan cheese.
- 5 bake uncovered at 350* for about 20 minutes.
