Herbed Potatoes 'n' Peas

Total Time: 1 hr 8 mins Preparation Time: 50 mins Cook Time: 18 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb small red potato
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • pepper
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas, thawed

Recipe

  • 1 place potatoes and bay leaves in a saucean; cover with water.
  • 2 bring to a boil.
  • 3 cover and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or just until tender; drain.
  • 4 cut potatoes into quarters and return to pan.
  • 5 add butter and seasonings.
  • 6 cover and cook for 5-8 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
  • 7 stir in peas; heat through.
  • 8 discard bay leaves.
