Irish Donegal Crab Pie

Ingredients
- Servings: 3
- 1/2 lb cooked crabmeat
- 1 1/2 lbs puff pastry
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
- 1/4 pint dry cider
- salt and pepper
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 pint milk
- 2 pinches nutmeg
Recipe
- 1 line a pie tin 12" across and 1" deep with the pastry and chill in a fridge for 1 hour.
- 2 also chill pastry for top of pie& brush with egg .
- 3 flake crab meat& put into pie followed by celery, parsley, cider and seasoning.
- 4 beat eggs and milk together and add the nutmeg.
- 5 put pastry on top and bake in oven at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
- 6 serve at once.
