Herb-baked Scallops

Ingredients
- Servings: 3
- 1 lb bay scallops (frozen and thawed or fresh) or 1 lb sea scallops (frozen and thawed or fresh)
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- ground black pepper, to taste
Recipe
- 1 put butter and seasonings in 13 x 9 baking pan and put prepared pan in oven; heat to 350 degrees (f).
- 2 rinse scallops in cold water; pat dry.
- 3 remove pan from oven; stir to combine melted butter and seasonings.
- 4 add scallops; toss in butter mixture.
- 5 return pan to oven; bake 15-25 minutes, stirring every 5-7 minutes to coat scallops with butter mixture.
