Easy Hash Brown Quiche

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 cups hash browns, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup monterey jack pepper cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup ham, cooked, diced
  • 1/2 cup green onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 press hash browns between paper towels to remove moisture.
  • 2 add seasoning to hash browns.
  • 3 grease a 9 inch pie plate with 2 tbsp butter.
  • 4 press hash browns onto the bottom and up the sides of the dish.
  • 5 drizzle with remaining butter.
  • 6 bake uncovered at 425°f for 20 to 25 minutes or until edges are brown.
  • 7 combine cheese and ham; spoon into crust.
  • 8 beat eggs with cream and seasoning pour over ham and cheese.
  • 9 reduce heat to 350°f and bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  • 10 let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
  • 11 makes 4 to 6 servings.
