Easy Hash Brown Quiche

Ingredients
- 3 cups hash browns, shredded
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup monterey jack pepper cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 cup ham, cooked, diced
- 1/2 cup green onion, chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 press hash browns between paper towels to remove moisture.
- 2 add seasoning to hash browns.
- 3 grease a 9 inch pie plate with 2 tbsp butter.
- 4 press hash browns onto the bottom and up the sides of the dish.
- 5 drizzle with remaining butter.
- 6 bake uncovered at 425°f for 20 to 25 minutes or until edges are brown.
- 7 combine cheese and ham; spoon into crust.
- 8 beat eggs with cream and seasoning pour over ham and cheese.
- 9 reduce heat to 350°f and bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
- 10 let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
- 11 makes 4 to 6 servings.
