- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- kosher salt
- 2 (14 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies
- basil
- oregano
- italian seasoning
Recipe
- 1 heat oil in large 3 quart sauce pan. add onions, celery, garlic. saute until soft. add tomatoes-don't drain off liquid. add seasonings. simmer for about 20 minutes, until begins to reduce. using an immersion blender, blend to desired consistency. serve.
