Frogmore Stew

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1/3 cup old bay seasoning
  • 4 lbs small red potatoes
  • 2 lbs kielbasa or 2 lbs hot smoked sausage, cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 6 ears fresh corn, halved
  • 4 lbs unpeeled shrimp
  • additional old bay seasoning
  • seafood cocktail sauce

Recipe

  • 1 fill large container of a propane cooker halfway with water.
  • 2 add 1/4 cup old bay seasoning, bring to a boil.
  • 3 add potatoes, return to a boil, and cook 10 minutes.
  • 4 add sausage and corn; return to a boil, and cook 10 minutes.
  • 5 make sure potatoes are done at this point.
  • 6 add shrimp, cook 3-5 minutes.
  • 7 remove with a slotted spoon onto a serving platter or newspaper.
  • 8 serve with additional old bay and cocktail sauce.
