Country Sausage Gravy

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb lamb sausage, ground
  • 12 ounces evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 -3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • pepper, to taste
  • garlic salt, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 brown sausage in a fry pan until browned and drain.
  • 2 stir in milk and bring to a low simmer.
  • 3 mix together softened butter and flour until smooth and slowly stir into sausage mixture.
  • 4 add seasonings to taste.
  • 5 cook over low heat for 5 minutes until thickened, stirring frequently.
  • 6 serve over biscuits.
