Italian Casserole

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground meat
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (8 ounce) package crescent rolls

Recipe

  • 1 cook ground meat until brown. add onion and bell pepper, cook until tender, add tomato sauce, pepper, garlic salt and italian seasoning. mix well and pour into 2 quart casserole. spread sour cream over the meat and sprinkle the grated cheese on the sour cream.
  • 2 separate the rolls into 4 rectangles and place over the cheese. brush with melted butter and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
  • 3 bake 20-25 minutes at 375ºf. cut into squares. let sit a few minutes before serving.
