Hearty Sausage Pizza Sauce

Ingredients

• 1/2 lb hot italian sausage, sauted and crumbled
• 1 (28 ounce) can peeled plum tomatoes
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1/2-1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
• 2 tablespoons fresh italian parsley, minced
• salt and pepper

Recipe

• 1 combine the sausage, tomatoes, garlic, pepper flakes and olive oil in a saucepan and simmer on low heat, stirring to break up the tomatoes, for 30 minutes.
• 2 add seasoning and simmer for another 5 minutes.
