Ingredients

- 2 lbs green peas
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 6 scallions, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh mint
- 1/4 cup water
- salt & pepper
- grated parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 saute onion in hot oil until brown.
- 2 add water, peas, mint, and seasonings.
- 3 cover tightly and steam till peas are tender 7-8 minutes for young peas, 15 for large peas.
- 4 serve hot sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
