Italian Chicken (crock Pot/ Slow Cooker)

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 8 ounces each)
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
- 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
- 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons water
- hot cooked rice
Recipe
- 1 place chicken in crock pot.
- 2 combine the tomatoes, 3/4 cup water, onion, bouillon and seasonings and pour over chicken.
- 3 cook on low for 3-4 hours.
- 4 pour cooking juices from crock pot into a saucepan.
- 5 combine cornstarch and 3 tablespoons of water until smooth.
- 6 stir into cooking juices and bring to a boil.
- 7 cook and stir until thickened.
- 8 serve with chicken and rice.
