Italian Chicken (crock Pot/ Slow Cooker)

Total Time: 4 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 8 ounces each)
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
  • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • hot cooked rice

Recipe

  • 1 place chicken in crock pot.
  • 2 combine the tomatoes, 3/4 cup water, onion, bouillon and seasonings and pour over chicken.
  • 3 cook on low for 3-4 hours.
  • 4 pour cooking juices from crock pot into a saucepan.
  • 5 combine cornstarch and 3 tablespoons of water until smooth.
  • 6 stir into cooking juices and bring to a boil.
  • 7 cook and stir until thickened.
  • 8 serve with chicken and rice.
