Crock Pot Taco Casserole

Total Time: 7 hrs 25 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 7 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef, browned
  • 14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes and green chilies
  • 10 3/4 ounces cream of onion soup
  • 1 ounce taco seasoning mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 6 corn tortillas, cut into 1/2 in strips
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, sliced (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 combine beed tomatoes, soup, seasoning mix, and water in slow cooker.
  • 2 stir in tortilla chips.
  • 3 cover. cook on low 7-8 hours.
  • 4 spread sour cream over casserole. sprinkle with cheese.
  • 5 cover. let stand 5 minutes until cheese melts.
  • 6 remove cover. garnish with green onions. allow to stand for 15 more minutes before serving.
