Italian Meatball Stew (crock Pot)

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs extra lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumb
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon dry basil, crushed
- 1 (16 ounce) package italian style vegetables, cooked and drained
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl combine beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, cheese, salt, pepper and garlic.
- 2 form into 2 inch balls.
- 3 place meatballs in bottom of crock pot.
- 4 combine tomato paste, broth, seasoned salt, oregano and basil.
- 5 pour mixture over meat.
- 6 cover.
- 7 cook low 4 1/2 to 5 hours.
- 8 stir in cooked vegetables.
- 9 cover and cook on high 10-15 mins til mixture is hot.
