Cretone Pate

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground lamb 
 
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped 
 
- 2 garlic cloves, minced 
 
- 1 cup hot water 
 
- 3 oxo beef cubes 
 
- 15 soda crackers, crushed 
 
-  cinnamon 
 
-  allspice 
 
Recipe
- 1 combine lamb, onion, garlic, water and oxo. 
 
- 2 bring to a boil, stirring to break up lamb. 
 
- 3 reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes. 
 
- 4 remove from heat and stir in cracker crumbs. 
 
- 5 add a bit of cinnamon and allspice to taste. 
 
- 6 puree in a blender or food processor until smooth. 
 
- 7 taste and add salt and pepper to adjust seasoning.
