Chex Mix My Way

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 3 cups corn chex
  • 3 cups rice chex
  • 3 cups wheat chex
  • 3 cups cheerios toasted oat cereal
  • 1 cup pretzel
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 6 tablespoons salted butter
  • 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons lawry's seasoned salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper sauce, preferably tabasco

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  • 2 mix cereals in large roaster pan with pretzels and nuts. melt butter; add remaining ingredients and stir until thoroughly mixed.
  • 3 pour butter mixture over dry ingredients, stirring to combine. bake one hour, stirring mixture every 15 minutes to distribute seasonings into mix.
  • 4 spread cooked mixture over a layer of paper towels to cool.
  • 5 store in airtight container. keeps about a week this way.
