Indian Corn

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 (16 ounce) bag frozen corn
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 1 lb wide egg noodles

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground beef, chopped onion, chopped celery in a large skillet. add diced green pepper and frozen corn. mix well.
  • 2 stir in both cans of stewed tomatoes, italian seasoning, garlic powder and chili powder.
  • 3 season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 4 bring to a simmer and let cook for 20 minutes.
  • 5 while this is cooking, prepare your noodles, per directions on box/bag. drain.
  • 6 when ready to serve, place indian corn over cooked noodles.
  • 7 can be served on a plate or in a bowl.
  • 8 may sprinkle with parmesan or romano cheese.
  • 9 a simple lettuce salad and some fresh, crusty bread/butter complete the meal!
