- 12 large squash blossoms, washed and drained
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 cup oil
Recipe
- 1 combine eggs, flour, water and seasonings to make batter.
- 2 dip blossoms in batter until well coated, then fry in hot fat (375 degrees) until golden brown
- 3 drain on absorbent paper and serve warm.
