Jerri's Peppery Buffalo Wings

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 50 chicken wings
  • 1 cup texas pete hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • mccormick seasoning salt
  • mccormick cracked black pepper
  • canola oil, for deep frying

Recipe

  • 1 rinse wings and pat dry.
  • 2 heat oil for deep frying to 375 degrees.
  • 3 cut wings at joints. discard wing tips.
  • 4 place wings on a piece of wax paper.
  • 5 liberally sprinkle on both sides with seasoning salt and black pepper.
  • 6 place wings in hot oil to deep fry in batches.
  • 7 while wings are cooking, put hot sauce and butter in pan and heat until butter is melted stirring to combine as butter melts.
  • 8 drain wings on paper towels.
  • 9 place wings in large bowl, pour hot sauce mixture over wings and toss gently.
  • 10 enjoy.
