Jenn's Stromboli

Total Time: 32 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 22 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 16 ounces frozen bread dough (thawed)
  • 1/4 lb thin sliced ham
  • 1/4 lb sliced salami
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, divided
  • 3 ounces sliced provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons garlic butter (or butter)
  • 1 teaspoon cornmeal

Recipe

  • 1 place dough on lightly greased baking sheet.
  • 2 pat to a 15x10 inch rectangle.
  • 3 arrange ham slices lengthwise down the center, follow with salami.
  • 4 sprinkle with half of seasonings.
  • 5 top with cheeses.
  • 6 sprinkle rest of seasonings.
  • 7 moisten all edges of dough with water.
  • 8 bring long ends together at center and press securely to seal.
  • 9 seal ends.
  • 10 brush dough with butter and sprinkle with cornmeal.
  • 11 carefully invert, seal side down, on baking sheet.
  • 12 brush top with rest of butter.
  • 13 bake at 375° for 20-22 minutes.
