Fried Chicken Strips

Total Time: 27 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup egg substitute
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons tomato soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • chili powder
  • 1/4 cup louisiana hot sauce
  • 3 cups corn flakes
  • 1 cup french-fried onions
  • 1 (8 ounce) envelope ranch dressing mix
  • peanut oil

Recipe

  • 1 cut chicken into strips.
  • 2 mix egg substitute with buttermilk and hot sauce.
  • 3 mix flour with seasonings.
  • 4 crush cornflakes and onions finely and mix.
  • 5 dip strips into wet wash, then dip in flour mix then dip in wet mix agian and then unto crumbs.
  • 6 heat oil to 375 degrees.
  • 7 fry strips about 6 minutes on each side'.
  • 8 drain on paper towels or brown paper bags.
