Great Aunt Virgina's Mid-morning/brunch Souffle

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 8 slices bread
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 lb cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 dash pepper

Recipe

  • 1 de-crust and cube bread.
  • 2 place cubes in to a 7 1/2 x 11 3/4 baking dish.
  • 3 combine mild, eggs, cheese and seasoning in blender or food processor.
  • 4 blend until cheese is grated.
  • 5 pour over bread cubes making sure that all cubes are moistened and let stand in the refrigerator overnight.
  • 6 then next morning, bake at 325 for 1 hour.
