Jamaican Oxtails

Total Time: 4 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 lbs oxtails
  • 2 tablespoons sherry wine
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 stalk scallion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 6 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 sprinkle oxtails evenly with seasoned salt, black pepper and ground thyme and garlic.
  • 2 stir meat in seasonings.
  • 3 add tomatoes, scallion and chopped onions.
  • 4 splash sherry on meat.
  • 5 brown stovetop for 30 minutes.
  • 6 place in crock pot slow cooker
  • 7 slow cook on high 4 hours.
  • 8 serve over rice.
