Individual Mini-meat Loaves

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs meatloaf mixture (ground lamb, beef and veal)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (3 slices bread in food processor)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 slices bread, torn in halves
  • tomato sauce (optional) or shredded cheese (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 soak bread crumbs in milk and add beaten egg.
  • 2 add meat, onion& seasonings.
  • 3 form into mini loaves and place on top of 1/2 bread slices on a cookie sheet.
  • 4 (the bread halves will soak up the grease) bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
  • 5 discard bread halves.
  • 6 serve with mashed potatoes, gravy& vegetable.
