French Canadian Pie

Ingredients
- 4 unbaked pie shells
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground lamb
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 lb potato, boiled peeled & cubed
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch pepper
Recipe
- 1 set oven at 375 degrees.
- 2 heat oil.
- 3 saute onion until tender.
- 4 add beef, lamb.
- 5 cook until meat is browned.
- 6 mash potatoes until smooth (add enough milk or chicken broth to potatoes untl smooth).
- 7 add to meat mixture and mix well.
- 8 place in 2 pie shells.
- 9 cover each pie with a top crust (use other 2 pie crust for top).
- 10 bake ay 375 for 30 minutes until brown.
