Fettuccine With Smoked Salmon, Vodka, And Dill

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons vodka
- 8 ounces smoked chinook salmon, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 3/4 lb fettuccine pasta
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Recipe
- 1 melt butter gently in a large deep skillet.
- 2 add cream.
- 3 bring to a boil.
- 4 add vodka.
- 5 reduce heat and cook on low 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 6 add smoked salmon, salt, pepper and dill.
- 7 remove from heat.
- 8 cook fettuccine in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender.
- 9 drain noodles well.
- 10 reheat sauce.
- 11 place drained noodles in the pan with the hot sauce.
- 12 toss gently over low heat until sauce coats noodles and is thick and creamy.
- 13 sprinkle with cheese if desired.
