Harry Gormley's Sour Cream Noodle Bake

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 cups uncooked pasta (elbow or something similar)
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup sliced green onion
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup small curd cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
- 1 cook pasta according to package directions.
- 2 brown beef, drain off fat.
- 3 add seasonings and tomato sauce; simmer for 5 minutes.
- 4 combine green onions, sour cream, cottage cheese and pasta.
- 5 place alternating layers of pasta mixture and meat mixture in a 2-quart casserole dish; starting with pasta and ending with meat mixture.
- 6 top with cheddar cheese.
- 7 bake uncovered at 350°f for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbling around the edges.
