Italian Rump Roast

Total Time: 8 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 3 -5 lbs boneless beef rump roast
  • 2 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 ounces fresh whole mushrooms
  • 1 cup green giant frozen cut green beans, thawed
  • 1/2 cup ripe olives, if desired

Recipe

  • 1 in a 4 - 5 quart slow cooker, mix onion, and tomatoes.
  • 2 if roast comes in netting or is tied, remove netting or strings.

  • 11 cover; cook for 20 - 30 minutes or until tomato mixute has thickened and vegetables are tender.
