Herbed Cottage Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 5 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon dried italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 (16 ounce) container small curd low fat cottage cheese
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400ºf.
- 2 combine flour, baking powder, sugar and seasoning.
- 3 cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
- 4 add cottage cheese and eggs, stir until moistened.
- 5 turn onto a floured surface and knead until smooth, about 5 minutes.
- 6 roll out dough to 3/4-inch thickness and cut with a 2-inch floured round cutter.
- 7 place on ungreased baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
