Garlic Black Pepper Shrimp

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined (leaving tail on is optional but makes for a beautiful presentation)
  • 8 tablespoons real butter (1 stick no substitute)
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • seasoning salt (like season-all)
  • warm french bread

Recipe

  • 1 season the peeled shrimp with the seasoned salt; set aside.
  • 2 melt butter in skillet, add shrimp and tossing to cook until pink. sprinkle lemon juice, oregano, black pepper and garlic over the shrimp. simmer 12-15 minutes, stirring occassionaly; do not overcook. adjust salt to taste if needed.
  • 3 serve with warm french bread to soak up sauce.
