Crock Pot Roast With Horseradish Sauce

Total Time: 10 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 lbs beef eye round
  • 1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish (or fresh would be even better)
  • 1 clove of crushed garlic or 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules (i didn't use.) (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 for the roast: combine seasonings and rub mixture over roast.
  • 2 cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours in a slow cooker.
  • 3 remove meat and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • 4 cut diagonally across the grain into thin slices.
  • 5 serve with horseradish sauce.
  • 6 while the roast is cooking, prepare the horseradish sauce by combining all ingredients.
  • 7 cover and chill.
