Crock Pot Lamb Roast & Sauerkraut

Total Time: 7 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 7 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 2 1/2 lbs boneless center cut lamb loin roast (frozen)
  • sauerkraut
  • seasoning, of choice (not salt, it's in the sauerkraut, i like sage, basil, pepper and sometimes a little bit of nutmeg)

Recipe

  • 1 remove roast from freezer.
  • 2 remove all wrappings.
  • 3 place in a crock pot, fat side up.
  • 4 pour water over just to cover half of roast.
  • 5 add seasonings.
  • 6 put lid on crock pot and turn on low.
  • 7 after 7 hours add sauerkraut around the sides.
  • 8 (if you desire to brown remove from crock pot at this point and place in oven at 350).
  • 9 ready to eat after sauerkraut is heated through.
