Italian Spinach Pie

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
- 1 lb ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 9" unbaked pie shell
Recipe
- 1 heat butter in skillet and saute onion until tender.
- 2 drain spinach well in a sieve and press with a spoon to remove all the liquid.
- 3 combine spinach, onions, ricotta, parmesan cheese, eggs and seasonings and mix well.
- 4 pour into pie shell and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
