Italian Pita Crisps

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons margarine, lowfat (melted)
  • 2 whole wheat pita bread (6-inch)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 split the pitas and open completely (you will have 4 sections).
  • 3 combine first 4 ingredients; stir well.
  • 4 brush margarine evenly over each pita half; sprinkle evenly with cheese mixture.
  • 5 cut each pita half into 8 wedges, and place on a baking sheet.
  • 6 bake for 8 minutes or until crisp; let cool.
  • 7 store in an airtight container.
