Herbed Rice Puffs

Total Time: 1 hr 35 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cooked rice, i usually use a minute rice
  • 1/8 teaspoon summer savory
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • oil (for frying)

Recipe

  • 1 beat egg and stir in rice, seasonings and cheese.
  • 2 chill for an hour.
  • 3 shape into balls and roll in bread crumbs.
  • 4 deep fry until golden.
  • 5 you can make ahead and store in fridge for 12 hours. just reheat in a 350 oven.
