Herb Roast

Ingredients

- 4 lbs beef roast
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
Recipe
- 1 mix herbs and seasonings together.
- 2 rub seasoning mixture completely over roast.
- 3 wrap roast in foil, sealing ends and edges, but leave room for steam.
- 4 for more flavor, let roast stand for 30 - 60 minutes.
- 5 to cook, leave roast in foil. place in a roasting pan and cook at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes per pound or until desired level of doneness.
- 6 let the roast stand for 5 minutes. remove from foil, saving drippings for gravy.
- 7 slice and serve.
