Hoagie Dip

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 1/4 lb domestic ham
  • 1/4 lb genoa salami, salamni
  • 1/4 lb turkey breast
  • 1/2 lb american cheese (or 1/4 provolone and 1/4 american)
  • 1/2 head lettuce
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 chop up cheese (3 slices on top of each other at a time) and separate. chop up rest of lunchmeat and separate. mix all together well. chop lettuce, tomatoes and onion (i use a food processor placing a bit of each in at a time). mix in mayonnaise until well mixed. add remaining seasonings to taste. mix very well. let stand in refridgerator over night. **tip: if you don't have time, place in freezer for 1 hour and then in fridge for 2**. let stand at room temperature for at least 1 1/2 hours before serving. will be watery. mix well. slice baguette (or thin italian bread) bread into thin small pieces and serve.
