Enchilada Pie

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 10 corn tortillas, about
  • shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground meat and onion in a skillet; drain fat.
  • 2 stir in tomato sauce and taco seasoning; bring to a boil.
  • 3 reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
  • 4 remove skillet from heat.
  • 5 stir together soup and milk; spoon mixture into a baking dish.
  • 6 cut tortillas in half, use halves to spread over soup mixture.
  • 7 spoon meat mixture over tortillas; top with tortillas.
  • 8 spoon remaining soup over tortillas.
  • 9 top with shredded cheese.
  • 10 bake at 350 degrees f for 30 minutes.
  • 11 let rest about 10 minutes before serving.
