Fruit Chaat ( Fruit Salad )

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup papaya, diced
  • 3/4 cup pineapple, diced
  • 1 cup apple, diced
  • 1/2 cup banana, diced
  • 4 -5 gooseberries, cut into2 halves each (optional)
  • 1/4 cup black and green grape
  • 1 cup cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 10 -12 cherry tomatoes, cut into 2 halves
  • 1/2 cup boiled potatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup crimson yam, boiled and diced (optional)
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander
  • 1 tablespoon green chutney
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind chutney
  • 1/4 teaspoon black salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted ground cumin (jeera)
  • 1 teaspoon chat masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 lemon, juice of
  • 3 sprigs mint leaves
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 combine all the chaat ingredients in a bowl and toss well with the seasoning.
  • 2 serve immediately.
