Italian "herbesan" Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dry yeast (or 1 packet)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
- 3 cups flour, and enough more to knead into dough
Recipe
- 1 mix warm water, yeast, and sugar in large mixing bowl.
- 2 let stand for 15 minutes.
- 3 mince garlic.
- 4 saute garlic in olive oil, let cool.
- 5 when garlic/oil is cooled, add to yeast mixture.
- 6 add salt, italian seasoning and parmesan cheese and mix well.
- 7 add 3 cups flour and mix.
- 8 knead enough flour into mix to make dough consistency.
- 9 cover baking stone lightly in cornmeal or grease a loaf pan.
- 10 form a ball and place on stone, or form a loaf and place in loaf pan.
- 11 spray saran wrap with cooking spray and cover dough. cover with a hand towel.
- 12 let dough rise until doubled in size (1 to 1-1/2 hours).
- 13 uncover and bake 25-30 minutes at 375°f.
