Good For You Turkey Meatballs

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 slices whole wheat bread, processed into crumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground turkey, preferably dark meat
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 small garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2 place bread crumbs into a bowl along with the milk and let stand for 5 minutes.
  • 3 add remaining ingredients to the bread mixture and combine with a fork until mixed.
  • 4 roll meat mixture into desired size balls and place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • 5 bake 20 minutes.
  • 6 use right away or let cool and then store in airtight container in the freezer for future use.
  • 7 i vacuum seal mine for longer storage.
