Ingredients

- 1 lb minced beef
- 1 onion (chopped )
- 2 ounces breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons mixed italian herbs
- 1 garlic clove (crushed)
- salt and pepper
- 400 g chopped tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 2 teaspoons tomato ketchup
- 1/2 pint beef stock
- 1 garlic clove (crushed)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Recipe
- 1 meatballs.
- 2 fry onion and garlic until golden brown, add mince and cook for 10 minutes,.
- 3 drain off any excess fat. then add breadcrumbs,herbs, beaten egg and seasoning.mix together then roll into 1 1/2 inch balls.
- 4 sauce.
- 5 add all ingredients into a large pan and bring to the boil.
- 6 add the meatballs then simmer for 25 mins.
