Ians Meatballs

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb minced beef
  • 1 onion (chopped )
  • 2 ounces breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons mixed italian herbs
  • 1 garlic clove (crushed)
  • salt and pepper
  • 400 g chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 2 teaspoons tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 pint beef stock
  • 1 garlic clove (crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Recipe

  • 1 meatballs.
  • 2 fry onion and garlic until golden brown, add mince and cook for 10 minutes,.
  • 3 drain off any excess fat. then add breadcrumbs,herbs, beaten egg and seasoning.mix together then roll into 1 1/2 inch balls.
  • 4 sauce.
  • 5 add all ingredients into a large pan and bring to the boil.
  • 6 add the meatballs then simmer for 25 mins.
