Chili Porcupine Meatballs

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

Recipe

  • 1 mix beef, onion, rice, and salts.
  • 2 shape into 16-20 meatballs.
  • 3 melt butter in a skillet and brown meatballs on all sides.
  • 4 add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, cover and simmer 40-45 minutes.
  • 5 serve.
