Home Made Chili

Total Time: 4 hrs 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef, browned
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey, browned
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag frozen onions
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 (1 1/4 ounce) packages low-sodium chili seasoning mix

Recipe

  • 1 place cooked meat in a colander and rinse off the fat with very hot tap water.
  • 2 in one tablespoon of hot oil, cook frozen onions until transparent, or browned if you prefer.
  • 3 in the slow cooker, place the ground beef, onions, tomatoes, and chili seasoning.
  • 4 stir well and cook on low for at least 4 hours.
