Flo's Shrimp Newburg

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups ripe olives
- 3 lbs cooked shrimp
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 3 cups milk
- 2 cups half-and-half cream
- 1/2 cup sherry wine
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons paprika
Recipe
- 1 rough chop olives.
- 2 melt butter in dutch oven. add shrimp, stir to gently coat with butter.
- 3 add seasonings, milk, half & half, cornstarch stirring constantly until thick and smooth.
- 4 add olives and sherry, stir and serve immediately.
- 5 serve over biscuits or toast points.
