Glazed Black Pepper Pear Salad With Goat's Cheese And Walnuts

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 pear
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 handfuls watercress
  • 2 tablespoons walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons goat's cheese
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard

Recipe

  • 1 peel, halve and core the pear and slice into 8 pieces. heat the butter in a frying pan and add the pear pieces. add the vinegar, honey, and a grind of black pepper. fry for 10 minutes until golden. remove from the heat.
  • 2 to make the dressing, whisk the vinegar, oil, mustard, and some seasoning. set aside.
  • 3 divide the watercress between two plates. top with the pear, walnuts, cheese, and dressing to serve.
