Ingredients

- 1 pear
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 2 handfuls watercress
- 2 tablespoons walnuts
- 2 tablespoons goat's cheese
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard
Recipe
- 1 peel, halve and core the pear and slice into 8 pieces. heat the butter in a frying pan and add the pear pieces. add the vinegar, honey, and a grind of black pepper. fry for 10 minutes until golden. remove from the heat.
- 2 to make the dressing, whisk the vinegar, oil, mustard, and some seasoning. set aside.
- 3 divide the watercress between two plates. top with the pear, walnuts, cheese, and dressing to serve.
