Easy Taco Pie

Ingredients

- 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 8 ounces ground turkey or 8 ounces beef
- 3/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (8 ounce) can red kidney beans, drained and slightly mashed
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 3/4 cup shredded taco cheese or 3/4 cup cheddar cheese
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- 2 in a large skillet sprayed with olive flavored cooking spray, brown meat, green pepper and onion.
- 3 add tomaote sauce, kidney beans and taco seasoning.
- 4 lower heat and let simmer until heated through.
- 5 pat crescent dinner rolls in a 9x13 inch pan sprayed with olive flavored cooking spray, be sure to seal perforations.
- 6 bake 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
- 7 spread meat mixture over crust and continue to bake for 10 more minutes.
- 8 sprinkle with cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
- 9 cut into 12 pieces.
